Shift every 30 secondsTurn off to play a normal nonogram.

On a computer, drag to paint a line, right-click or hold Shift to cross, X swaps pens, Ctrl+Z undoes and Space pauses.

Determine lengths. A clue like 4 means you must find a single, unbroken stretch of 4 filled cells in that row or column. 4
Follow the order. A clue like 2 3 means you will fill a block of 2 squares, followed later by a block of 3 squares. The 2 always comes before the 3, reading left to right or top to bottom, with at least one empty square between them. 2 3
Never guess. Every move can be worked out logically. If you aren't sure about a square, look at the clues in the rows and columns that cross it to rule out possibilities.

All the rules

The numbers beside each row and above each column are the lengths of the shaded runs in that line, in order. Runs are separated by at least one blank square.
Fill the squares you know are shaded. Cross the ones you know are blank. A clue number turns green once you've shaded its run, red if its line can no longer fit, and pale when the line is done.
Every 30 seconds on Easy, every minute on Medium and every 1½ minutes on Hard, one or two squares in a small patch flip. The patch glows amber 3 seconds before. Your marks in it are wiped and the changed clues flash. Every shift keeps the puzzle solvable by logic alone.
There are three puzzles a day: Easy 5×5, Medium 10×10 and Hard 15×15. New ones arrive at midnight your time, and past days are in the archive.
If you leave the page or switch apps, the clock and the shifts stop and pick up again when you come back. Signed in, today's puzzles are ranked: Pause and Hint are off, and each account gets one attempt per puzzle.
You can pause shifts or turn them off, but your result will say so: shared results show "Shifts paused" and the leaderboard tags the time as paused.
